Heart Failure to Transplant: Typical Morning

The following was posted to my CaringBridge journal on Dec 1, 2014:

Woke up. Had Charlotte bring me her clothes so I could help her get dressed while I was still in bed. Got out of bed. Made the bed, tidied the bathroom counter. Looked at the stuff on the floor to be put away after our weekend trip and realized it would wear me out too much to bend up and down that many times. Pondered strategies to make the job easier. Asked Adam to put everything on the bed for me to put away later.

Went out to eat breakfast, realized I hadn't done my morning vitals, went back to the bedroom. Weighed myself, took my blood pressure, took my antidepressant.

And just that amount of activity exhausted me.
